About the studio

A small tattoo studio on Residency Road, Sadar, founded by Ravi Madavi in 2012.

Mirror started in 2012 with Ravi Madavi and a simple idea: every tattoo should be drawn for the person wearing it. More than a decade later the studio has grown, but that idea hasn’t changed. There is no wall of flash designs to pick from. Every piece starts with a conversation and a blank sheet.

The studio stays deliberately small. You talk to the artist who will tattoo you, you see your drawing before the session, and nobody is hurried out of the chair to fit in the next booking. Many of our clients come in for their first tattoo, and a good number of them come back for their second and third.

How we work

The space

The studio is upstairs above Orient Hotel, near Microworld on Residency Road. There’s free parking, wheelchair access, and everyone is welcome; we’re proud to be an LGBTQ+ friendly studio.

The artists

Both artists draw and tattoo their own designs. Ask for either when you book, or tell us your idea and we’ll suggest who suits it.

What people tell us after

The same three things come up again and again: a first tattoo that was far less frightening than expected, staff who explained everything without being asked, and detail that still looks sharp once it has healed.

Have an idea? Let's draw it.

Send a reference and the placement on WhatsApp, or book a consultation at the studio. Either way, nothing is inked until you’ve approved the drawing.
